Cheers, David saturday (02/05/09) i have a boat so i usually go to botany bay, port hacking and georges river on the south side of sydney, there are some nice spots around there with a nice variety of fish, these places are worth having a go and the area is not very difficult for people new to the area. id recommend botany bay first up its my favorite. Thanks 5Star, Nice to meet you. I am crazy about fishing. I did go to botany bay, at beside the bare island, but it's too many rock that my sinker always get stuck. Could I know how big the sicker and what kind of sinker do we use? Ps: what's the gear that we have to use in that condition? Many Thanks. David hey david nice to meet you two, that would make 2 of us. that would be frustrating . well it depends on how hard the current is ripping through if it is hard i think i use a size 2 ball sinker or maybe 3 if its a weak current i would drop down untill my bait doesnt drop like a rock, ive actually never come across that problem before. are you fishing from the shore?? im not the best to give advice on shore fishing because i rarely do it. I plan to go to Bondi Beach. hehe... I went to Stanwell Beach yesterday afternoon / evening, didn't catch anything. Although friends caught some flatheads and a stingray! All of minute size though. Next Beach will have to be Cronulla or Coogee, or somewhere possibly up north.
