Boat Mooring Watsons Bay 1962

Dear Raiders I was going through some old papers of my late grandfather and I came across this Licence for a Mooring site at Watsons Bay dated 1962

My grandfather was a great fisherman and loved getting out on the harbour in his 14 foot inboard timber boat.

The boat was called the Stephen James after me being the first grand child.I remember going out on family picnics to Shark island.

My grand father passed away many years ago and the boat was negleted and snapped its mooring in a storm and sunk.

As you can see on the document the fee was one pound and the mooring was near the shark weighing platform.

I was wondering if any raiders have a boat moored at Watsons Bay what would it cost today????
