fisherman1994
Hi guys, I have a 6m Quinnie spirit and I was wondering if any of you could shed some light on a few decent fishing spots in the Sydney harbour area for this time of year. I dont want to go all the way out to the FAD but if anybody knows anywhere that's producing inside the harbour or just offshore towards long reef or down bondi way I'd love you to help me out. Im taking a friend out next week and neither of us have any idea where to go. Not sure what we'll target cos i dont know whats on at the moment somebody help me out pleassee .. thanks guys,

jim77
Sure you weren't getting "snipped" by leather jackets? They are a bloody pest and if it was happening a lot more than likely it was them as opposed to the bottom. Usually you know when you get the bottom... i.e. it pulls back! Yeah i thought of that and mates also commented so could well be, their were three lines in the water and all were as they were snipped above the leader all at once no tug of being snagged at all just a nick and nothing just couldn't justify three lines being eatin by leatherjackets within seconds and re rigged four timesso they got 12 8oz of lead from us

fisherman1994
thanks guys i'll take those places into mind next time we head out, we canned the trip which was going to be this weekend due to unwanted weather conditions does anybody know if it would be worth trolling for light game i.e dollies, stipies etc. i am interested in catching something exotic and love bringing in the light game fish. I wouldn't be suprised if there's nothing due to the season however if anybody has had experiences to suggest otherwise would they be able to point me in the right direction?? thanks heaps guys
