It is about time I introduce myself I am Yanko Serifi ANSA NSW Angel Ring Co-Ordinator North Coast and mate of DEKKIE3. Stan has already filled you all in where we are at present. I am responsible for installations from Hawksbury River to QLD Border. This weekend being Easter we will be installing 3 Angel Ring assemblies at Catherine Hill Bay (Moonie Rock) and 1 on Flat Rock and 1 on Snapper Rock. Anyone interested in joining Stan, Deckie 3, Malcolm Poole and myself you are more than welcome. Get in touch with me on mobile: 0425265533 for times and meeting point. Cheers Yanko Serifi ANSA NSW Branch Angel Ring Co-Ordinator North Coast If any of you Central Coast Raiders are looking for something different to do over Easter, why not give these blokes a hand to save lives - could be your mates that get saved.
deckie 3 Posted March 23, 2005 Posted March 23, 2005 Given the amount of guys fishing the "stones". I was hopefull of a better response (Trouble & Tyrone 3 excluded - your offers are appreciated and we will be in touch) Never mind...we'll be out this Easter installing a 3-4 more anyway..(weather permitting and buggered Hamstring and all) Thanks for your assistance to a good cause Bluecod. Again guys, if you have a favourite spot that could do with an Angel Ring let us know....I've been "knocked" in a couple of times in my 25 yrs fishing the Stones...nothing to serious but...... Jocool your note re installations will be addressed....have contacted ANSA re publishing that info on here - You just never know when you might need one..if not for you, perhabs a mate or a complete stranger

Im probarly going over the top but yeah just saying the spots i fish reguarlly. Sorry if i do sound like it. Anyway im more than happy to install them in area round the coast. Cheers Tyrone
deckie 3 Posted March 23, 2005 Posted March 23, 2005 We are meant to be installing another one at Snapper this weekend to Ankles...I remember there used to be one out at the front point (haven't fished it for years)Malcolm Poole reckons another one is needed there.....any in the Nth western corner where the track first comes down onto the platform???

When you walk straight down the dirt road to the first platform there is one installed directly east (this ring was missing and we replaced it last Sunday)...(the storms these last 24hrs might mean another replacement). The other on is installed on the Nth western corner of the same headland just about facing Catho Beach. The next 2 at Catho (this weekend) are on the next headland south (where most of the fisho's get), another at Flatrock and then the extra one at Snapper Rocks Don't know Winney Bay (yeah okay I'm a philistine)...but will investigate it....Don't worry about ringing Yanko either (see Angel Ring article)...He's not a bad bloke and will move heaven and earth to ensure rings go in where they are needed
Jethro Posted March 23, 2005 Posted March 23, 2005 Great cause guys. I would love to give you guys a hand but I am pretty booked this weekend. Another place that might be worth a look is Norah Head. You get a fair few idiots fishing that platform in bad weather. It is a pretty popular spot so I'm not sure how long the ring would last.
Coast_Bloke Posted March 23, 2005 Posted March 23, 2005 Winney Bay is between Avoca Beach and Copacabana... access is via a firetrail off Cape Three Points Road, right behind the big green water tower.
