spongy
Where to get squid . Can someone help out with where to catch squid around Sydney area. Also if its raining or there's a lot of fresh water around, you should try to go deeper. Use a paternoster rig to get the jig down.
zephi
avoid places with a drain outlet close by. Especially on rainy days the squid will tend to avoid the freshwater flowing out. If your day fishing for squid then look for weed beds, sand and rocks. Georges River doesn't hold much squid... and after rain there's even less... greg123
try the spit bridge early in the morning with 2oz jigs (pink or orange works well) then as it gets lighter switch to natural coloured jigs
sam0216
Just a question on the topic, how would u use a paternoster rig to get the squid jig going like do u just sit it there or reel in as well?
