roosterman Posted June 9, 2009 Share Posted June 9, 2009 guys im doing the whole kitchen reno with a near new kitchen scored from a mate... as the title says im in need of a plumber to redo some connections in the kitchen with a change from outa wall type to under cavity to sink mixer tap(gyprocks removed so easy access).moving across 10 inches from existing one so waste will prob need altering also... there needs a gas fitting also but mains run outside and just tapping into this and about 2mtrs max to cooktop connection.. house is on piers so all easy to do... ive started with demolition completed today and will be needing this pretty quickly before im off to divorce court.. also needed is a sparky to connect up the oven as its electric..... with the building scene slow i thought id try to give job to a fisho in need of work and hopefully i can save some $$ as im in nthern beaches and tradies think ya must be loaded so quotes are always loaded up... anyways hope we can both help each other out... cheers...steve..... roosterman Posted June 9, 2009 Author Share Posted June 9, 2009 (edited) heres a pic to give ya an idea on how easy a job it is.. i would do it myself but couldnt be bothered borrowing the gear needed and being that one job is moving gas prob better for tradie.. things left to do once plumbings done.... remove last bits of plasterboard crap,blueboard or gyprock areas,tile,add a splashback,relocate some existing overhead cupboards,install the new kitchen then paint roof and walls... im still tossing up on once i remove the vinal from floor weather i will put new stuff down or polish the floorboards... prob see what condition theyr in i suppose...
