Which One ?

im looking at buying a new reel to chase jews and kings inshore and i am looking at the following

but would like your prefernces . cheers

1. daiwa exceller DA 2500-3000

2. shimano seido 4000

3. shimano saros 3000

4. shimano sonora 4000

5. ABU soron stx 40

i would go something a bit heavier

4000 size will be ok but a bit bigger for kings

Hi top breamer my choice would be a Penn 850 ssm reel on a medium to heavy rod and a Spheros 8000 on a good quality light to medium rod....

G'day mate, from the choices you have selected I would get the Shimano Seido 4000,

that would suit most of your fishing , a good versatile reel for the price..

thankyou so much for your input guys but i forgot to put in that its going to be used for spining mainly sp chrome lures, popering.

stay with aluminium framed models which is the exceller and the saros

i have a saros and are very happy with it, the exceller is also very good but IMO is more corrosion prone than the shimanos.

if you can squeeze out some more dough for the stradic you won't be disapointed, it is better than the saros and damn near bulletproof

also the stradic has a faster ratio
