Slider Posted March 25, 2005 Posted March 25, 2005 Howdy people I wandered down to the Manly goon this morning and threw some poppers around. Quite on the bream front, but the EP surface action more than made up for it. I got four in a magic 1/2hr period and picked up another one on the old magic last cast. All 5 were taken on Koolabung fizzers (the smaller one). Not a bad little 2 hr walk anyway . Cheers Brent Only took a piccy of my first one
tyrone07 Posted March 25, 2005 Posted March 25, 2005 Good report i was going down for a goon session this arvo but wind wrecked any plans for that. Maybe tommorow morning. Anyway well done

Slider Posted March 25, 2005 Author Posted March 25, 2005 Cheers guys, Richy...yep, brand spanking new rods... 1337 - its a Certate 2500, it's my snag/rack outfit and for those applications I prefer a slightly larger reel than the usual 1500-2000 size. Cheers Brent
snag Posted March 26, 2005 Posted March 26, 2005 Hi Brent, Nice pic's mate, having a fish or two before the big trip mate, i dont blame you, i would to.
Lizardboy Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 Good to hear they are still responding to fizzers, those koolabung ones are my first choice for bream and the goon EP's are fond of them to. I'm up on the north coast, had some fun taking on rapids in the coleman in the mann river that feeds the clarence, manged a small Eastern cod yesterday. Gus
