Too Shocked To React

Hey there raiders this topic has been brought up many a times so I will not be harping on it too much.

Jewgaffer gave me some great advice but thanks to powers beyond my control I had a really late start as I had to drop the kids off before shooting through to Botney. " NOT WELL"

When I got there I opted not to fish but instead I watched and learned how to fish with a pencil float/setup.

As time went on more and more people showed up and there were about 7 of us.A range of fish were caught but..........

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED WHEN THE FIRST KINGIE WAS LANDED.

I am "NOT" racist so I will not mention what "NATIONALITY" it was.

The fish was clearly undersize and the others said that it should be returned.The culprit even responded and said yes he knows the legal size is 65cm but the DI>>HEAD put it in his bucket.

Comments followed from disappointed guy's but what can you do.Things did not even settle down when another Kingie was landed by a second person of the same "NATIONALITY"

This was when I put my foot down.I called the fisheries and after about an hour of calls back and forth they finally showed up but by this time the first DI>>HEAD had taken his one home and returned.

I was asked to remove myself from there when I met the fisheries workers in the parking lot and to just point the culprits out.They said they would call me to tell me what the outcome was.

Well all that happened was the fish was returned to the water due to it still being alive and that was that.No fines what soever and no checking of licenses.

So I guess I ended up being more out of pocket with all my calls than the actual offenders.

Please do not make this report into a "FIGHT" and just think about what to do if this happened to you.I was actually FRUSTRATED way beyond what I expected to be.

On a much lighter note I have to say thanks to Tan who offered to give me a spot on his mates boat at the last minute but things did not work out.

Anyway it has only taken me an hour to type this report as I was watching "grey's" on tely at the same time and only typed during ad breaks.You might think that is but have you seen me wash and dress the kid's in those breaks as well.YES I DO AS I AM A TELY FREAK.

Private practice is on so I have to stop now or this will take me another hour.
