Ray R
Hi Raiders, just a quick report today, went around the rocks at Avoca about 3:00pm, a quick bread, weed and sand berly up, I throw out a few gabbage baits and then I get this little fella, I was happy with that capture, so out goes another bait for a small pig of about 25 or so cms, I then put on a bread bait and it gets snavelled by a cocky. So 4:30 I came home , gave the pig to my lovely elderly neighbours (80) he was stoked and I had a fun arvo all be it brief. Gonna try for a bigger model when conditions are good, gonna try Nth Avoca and another spot I know of further around the rocks.. Anyway that's it sorry there is only the pig pic.. Cheers.. jewiehaven
Nice "oinker" Ray, or should I say Pig... He's very fat, am sure he was gutsing down on all the berley you threw in. Nice catch, seas are real small this week but getting back up so you wil find a good wash over the weekend for sure after the wind dies down. Good luck if you hit NA at some point. I will be up your way early August for my next Beach Fishign adventure- I might even stop in at Avoca or Winnie Bay for a few hours see whatsies going on. As usual great report mate
