Captain Pugwash
Set out today with fellow Raider Weasel and his brother Dave hoping to emulate our recent trip which bagged a Yellowfin Tuna and a PB Kingy. Yakkas were plentiful at Balmoral and out we headed. Trolled up to Bluefish for nothing then anchored and berleyed. Only had to wait 20mins and a livie gets hit. You Bewdy! After a short, sharp fight we boat a lightly undersize 56cm Kingy. Back ya go buddy, but were on the board. Then sat and sat for a couple of hours for a few small squire and nothing else. Too bloody windy anyway so in we come. Head for the wreck, nah it's exposed to the southerly swell and bumpy as hell. Back into Middle Harbour to calmer water. Picked up a too small flattie, a couple of baby squire then to finish what was a quiet day for us, a 50cm tailor which too a liking to a livie on a balloon. Not a great day but beats mowing the lawn. Just have to backup and have another crack at them tomorrow. Cheers Pete
