Catchin Jack
Well i'm hoping someone on here has some idea on what totally crushed my hook tonight. I was fishing at Norah Head off the beach next to the rocks and had one solid hit and that was it, when i reeled in my line with a 3 hook sliding gang the middle one was completely crushed to the point the actual hook part was just about touching the shaft part of the hook. Has anyone got any ideas what could have done this as it takes a lot of force to do it, i tried with some pliers to put it back into shape as best i could but even with pliers it wasn't easy. Any help on this would be appreciated as it's got my stuffed what could do that to a solid hook. Cheers, Leo
Scienceman
Probably a big bream going for a feed of the gut section which is where they commonly bite. Or maybe a reddie...... Edited July 15, 2009 by Scienceman
