Thanks for posting this up mate. Vic, NSW and Tassie are all on watch at the moment. No news yet if the quake did in fact generate a wave.

Yep - they reckon the Shakey Isles (NZ) may be responsible for big (or bigger) waves than normal, hitting our eastern shores over the next few days.

Thank god for friends, was out at Norah Head tonight fishing when the phone rang and a mate asks if i was fishing, then informed me of the warning, straight home after hearing that.

Hopefully there'll be no damage etc from it.
