tan the fisherman
Gday Raiders, I scored the rod below on the weekend and was wondering if anyone knows of or has used them before. She is a 3.05m 2 piece, black with red bindings and a timber sand spike type butt section. She needs one guide and some TLC but she looks alright. Any advise is greatly appreciated. Tan the man, Gansel is located at Milperra, NSW. They mainly distrubute Mustad hooks etc to most major outlets, and their Force Ten brand. They have some good cheap buys and you always pay less here for hooks etc. As far as rods go, cant say but whenever I have gone there have not considered the rods. Hope you didnt pay too much for the rod, Im sure Gansel would sell it for under $50 new.

I got the rod for free but it needs cosmetic repair - the vanish/lacquer is coming off around some of the bindings and one guide inner has popped out. Wondering if its worth the cost of repair. Thanks Edited July 21, 2009 by tan the fisherman
