jewgaffer
Hi Raiders ......wondering if anyone has fished Bobbin Head in recent week or two wanting to take my young bloke (mr 5) for a LB fish tomorrow ....We have a reliable LJ spot 5 mins drive from home as a backstop .. Cheers Hi Neil there might be a bit of action up there during the run out tide around daybreak but I think it would be better to start around 10am and fish the run in tide... low tide at the mouth of the Hawkesbury tomorrow would be around 9.15 in the morning...I reckon Mr5 would be a five year old fisho and he would have a lot of fun at Bobbin head throwing handfulls of burley into the water and watching the happenings and fishing with a bait rig on a bobby cork which might take off as soon as it hits the water when the tide changes direction.....I think there would be a lot of small stuff up there but all the same you should small live baits and cast a few squid strips and heads on 3/0s out a bit.....tell Mr5 that to watch if the set rods bend or not to keep him interested..... It would be interesting to hear how Bobbin Head does fish tomorrow during the run in tide..... Cheers jewgaffer
