pjbink
I was greeted with an unusual sight when passing under Tom Ugly Bridge on the way out in the form of a seal next to one of the pylons! As to the fishing I picked up a couple of flaties on the sp's (not worth getting the camera out for). Also picked up a few squid and trolled on live around the container wall for no result. PS: on the way up the center of the Bay, bouncing around a bit in the westerly chop, my motor suddenly lost most of it's power. There was no sign of overheating or prop entanglement. I was faced with curtailing my fishing and crawling back to the ramp at 2 knots. I started to think that the problem might be spark plug related (maybe oiled up from the slow trolling) and remembered the spare plug in the tool kit, so I droped the anchor and removed the cowl. Well it was spark plug related allright - the lead had popped off! I pushed it back on and went from 2 knots to 24 knots! Has anyone had that happen.
