thats pretty cool, the only thing i dont like about this, they make it look so simple, but its probally really complicated.

Now we know why the topline models are soooo expensive!!! Very labour intensive!

Yeah - they do make it look easy, Luke.

...I wonder if the same care and precision is put into the modern day mass produced factory rods.....

I guess instead of humans doing the rolling & binding, they have machines, hence we are able to buy 2 or 3 now, instead of just the one!

Interesting but very simple technology

The carbon fiber is resin preimpregnated uni directional tape

Im guessing there are far more complicated rods out there using a combination of different materials
