Moonshine
Thanks to good conditions I made it all the way out to Browns for the first time. After having read a lot on cubing I tried my luck chasing yellowfin but gave up after four hours. I wasn't to sure if I could reach the bottom as my sounder wouldn't show the depth any more (it gave up around the 235m mark - is this normal?) but I certainly wanted to try. After a 10min drop and about 10m of line left on the beastmaster I manged to reach the bottom and catch a nice blue eye (12.5kg). Gemfish of 7kg came up the next two tries. It was so worth the trip and achy arms!

dobson_c
Awesome fish, and Browns looks like a pond. What bait do you use for Blue eye and Gemmies? Or are they caught on lures? Cheers
