Vhf Radio Course

G'Day Raiders

just wired up a VHF radio and wondered if I need to get a licence or do a course before using. Anyone know what the rules are.

Hi Paddy69

For a Vhf radio you need the following minimum requirements:

Restricted Radiotelephone Operators Certificate of Proficiency or

3rd Class Commercial Operators Certificate of Proficiency or

Marine Radio Operators Certificate of Proficiency or

Marine Radio Operators VHF Certificate of Proficiency
