G'day ''raiders''....

I need to draw on some raider knowledge.

If someone could help me out on this, it would be much appreciated.

I hear of fisho's making referance to the "Drop Off'' in Lake Macquarie, so where is this place exactly ??

Much thanks in advance. HOBBITT_Fisho without a clue. :(

The drop off is the exact point where Swansea channel becomes lake Macquarie, its is geographically between Marks point and Elizabeth Island and is sign posted by two large Port and Starboard markers.

The bottom of the chanel when travelling into the lake meanders at around the 8-10 foot depth mark at the dropover it drops to 24 odd feet and then to the 30 mark within about 10 metres.

cheers

G'Day Hobbit.

Bloody good spot too if your planning a trip. Suggest summer is the prime time once the warm currents push down from up north.

Have fished the area for 30 years with some quite good results.

Pm me if you need a couple of inside tips and tricks for the area.

Sorry to all FR's can't let the "cat out of the bag" on the tricks with a public post. But will see wehther I can assist persons with personal info if requested.

Hey Tan!

As promised, no more doggie puns as I got sick of having to walk to the pound after each one!

I only wear hush puppies and they all got worn out doing so. (Bugger thought I was cured).

However the "cat out of the bag" statement????

Well that may now have created another problem for me, I will try to resist but no garrentee's :biggrin2::biggrin2::biggrin2:

Cheers
