Hi Guys and Gals.

Can anybody tell me, are berkley gulp swimming mullet any good

off shore. it will be mainly night fishing in about 40 mtrs.

Putting aside my bias because of the stench juice... they're great plastics. What would you be hoping to get offshore with them though. They're a bit on the small side for snapper and the like.

My personal opinion would be no they wouldnt be any good. I agree they are good plastics but their sink rate is slow and 40m is a fair way to get down. I would stick to squidgy pro range flick baits(pilly) which are my choice at the moment or 5/7 inch jerk shads. What would you be targeting with them anyway? To be honest they look good in a packet but as far as catch rate goes i find many other plastics far better. Let me know how you go anyway. Cheers Mike.

Thanks Mike and Slinky, U 2 have just made up my mind,one of my mates

had some luck with snapper in 10m, I thought the 4" weighted might work,
