Power Trim Acting Up

Hi all, had a plan to take the kids out for father day so i decided to do a once over and found that the power trim is playing up. Its acting rather sporadic, goes up sometimes, then down, then stops and jolts up and then stops altogether? Strange, sounds electrical?

Do you think the trim motor is buggered or could it be something else? I hope its not the trim motor cause they can be $$$$$

any ideas before i take to the dealer would be grateful.

Hi Billy, it will either be the trim motor or the relays/wiring. If motor you can get aftermarket ones alot cheaper.

If you are confident power up the wires coming from the trim motor and see if it works without the relays.
