luderick -angler
Fished the upper hutt tonight with a mate for no fish so on the way back to welly we decided to hit the estaury section of the Hutt and this was the result very pretty fish couple odf spectacular jumps and a short fight and shes on the bank. Wentto let her go but unfortunately this one wasnot too healthy so got a knock and well destined for the table, full of whitebait and shrimps! Very fat and I'm surprised she did not swim off. Looked very healthy was a litle dissapointed by this as I try to practice C&R in this fragile fishery. enjoy

luderick -angler
Thanks for the replies guys, yeah theres nothing wrong with a nice trout for the table but witth Hutt being so fragile i like to catch and release where possible we have a few rivers in thwe Wairarapa whereyou get tons of pan size fresh silver rainbows little fatties of about14 inches thta are great for the pan. Any fellow raiders that are heading over on holidays etc and have time that wants to go out for a quick flick let me know via PM!

By thge way spotted two browns in the Korokoro they're still in there!
