cut_loose
Today we went for a fish off bate bay. We got to the ramp at 6;40 and lauched the boat. All good, it was really smooth as we headed out into bate bay. The conditons were beauiful. We headed down towards marley. First few difts were hopeless ! We caught notting. Then we noticed that we left the tackle box at home!! Hows that for luck ?? So anyway we tired not to lose our rigs, We had a tackle box full of sinkers but that was it. So after no luck at marley we headed down to garie beach, We were difting for about 30 mins then all of a sudden we started catching lots of undersized flathead ! So anyway we kept on difting around and all of a sudden we started catching legal flatties We got 8 in about 30 mins of fishing, They ranged from 34cm's to 42cm's !! Anyway after that we headed back to bundeana, We walked too the local supermarket and got some hooks + swivels and we got some fish and chips for lunch! After that we headed back out to bate bay and after a quick run over to boat harbour we started our dift.. We tired difting there for about 50 - 60 mins, Lost abit of tackle ! ( Lucky we got the hooks and swivels ) and caught notting ! Thats fishing for you ! Had a wonderful day on the water anyways and notting wrong with 8 legal flatties ! Yum yum we have eaten 2 already tonight
