GregL
Hi Raiders Coming off my previous posts on Next is back, I forgot to post some pics of the slimey tubes I fitted that were purchased threw Gary at Serious Stainless Steel. Perfect fit buddy! We mounted them inside the livewell so it keeps the boat nice and clean without them sitting over the back in plain site. It also keeps the boat dry as it just overflows into the tank and then when the tank is full in just goes out the overflow. We added a spacer in to keep it off the walls so bait wont get stuck in the corner as they swim around. Nice simple design in a good quality product, thanks again Gary! Here are a couple of the sounders on. Greg

locodave
Excuse the ignorance, but what is that used for? What is a slimey tube?
Evets
A slimey tube is used to keep a slimy pre rigged and ready to use at a moments notice. It works by rigging up a slimy and putting it head first into the tube. Water us pumped up through the bottom of the tube (an allowed to spill over the top) keeping the slimy alive but unable to move. This way you dont have a pre rigged slimy swimming around in your bait tank. When you need a slimy quick smart you have one ready to use. Used alot in switchbaiting when trolling for marlin and cubing for yellowfin. Steve
