They'll slide straight over the gunwale. Fish to 50kg are fine to rip over the side for a photo and drop it back in for a swim before release. Kiwi Posted September 26, 2009 Share Posted September 26, 2009 Carefully grab by bill. Lean back and use the waves to help wash it in. Over the stern rather than the side. If you are facing stern to the waves/sea then be careful of too much water coming in. Watch out fot the pectorals catching on the motor and in particular fuel lines.
