Hi everyone,

ive been really craving for a good fish this week, but due to the conditions i only went out once for a fish at pittwater but left the scene after 30minutes because of the wind. :1badmood:

I really want to go out fishing today, to balmoral or rose bay or even CG.

Any suggestions guys where there will be no wind, or a place where it is still fish-able with wind/.

Thanks guys!!!

BTW i am located in sydney.

you might be able to fish under a float if you're desperate. Otherwise you won't be able to watch your line

CG is closed til december.. the wharf is being rebuilt i think

I dunno how the wind affects fishing though. I think it's blowing lots of sediment into the water

pro: blowing bugs into the water

cons: blowing crapload of dirt into water

dunno how that will work... the waters been clearly lately maybe the fish want some sediment in the water??

just thinking aloud :1fishing1::wacko:

i just came back from DY and the whole time i wished i slept in.

only came back with a few trevs, was hoping for kingies.

i'm definitely sleeping in tmr as it will be the same

what kind of rig were you fishing?

usually i cant even feel bites on days this windy?

Posted (edited)

the trevs were on a differnt rod. just a pea ball sinker down to the hook. it is a bit harder to feel bites when its this windy. i remember twice i was retrieving and felt something just slowly pulling away.

i was live baiting for kings on another

i wanted to put the trevs out as bait but didn't have balloon.
