giangnguyen Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 Hi all Raiders, This is my first post. Me and a couple of mates are planning to head up to Swansea from Syd, sometimes this weekend to fish land-base. The weather doesn't look too good, but its long weekend and we're desperate to wet a line. Was wondering if the fishes started biting yet. Or whats biting around. We've been up Swansea few times last summer , fishing around the bridge, and the northern breakwall. But never really had much luck with the fishes. Any locals wanna gives us some heads up first is much appreciated. Thanks in advance..

Swansea is still quiet, a few blackfish around, bream aren't on the bite yet, the odd lizard around if you get lucky. Salmon around 4.30-5am or late arvo but that's nearly over also. Overall there's not a lot of action in Swansea at the moment, I fish there nearly everyday as do some locals I know who have fished there all their lives and even they sayin it's quiet except for blackfish. Cheers, Leo
