slayer666 Posted October 13, 2009 Share Posted October 13, 2009 (edited) I have a certate 4000 loaded up with 30lbs of daiwa sensor braid and most of the time I get massive knots in my line which then requires me to cut the line and re-tie the knot and for 120 bucks for 300 meters it's pretty crap value for money. Does it ever happen to anyone else? It think from now on I'm gonna stick to my trusty nitlon. Josh88 Posted October 13, 2009 Share Posted October 13, 2009 Ive got a couple of reels with 6 and 10lb sensor, occasionally i get it caught on the guides of the rod and even then i think its more to do with the structure of the guides on the rod but dont have any major wind knots very often. I'll get the occasional loop on the spool every now and then but ive become really diligent about checking it as im retrieving and casting to avoid that.
