On Sunday I will be taken a few inexperienced mates out fishing and they would like to fish around the Lion Island area. Is this a good place to take them as I personally have never fished this area. Day's Fishin Posted October 30, 2009 Share Posted October 30, 2009 Hi Jayson, if you fish about 100 meters out from Pearl beach with any fish bait its a great place to catch hammerheads. Watch the board riders scatter when you start pulling them up. Its quiet comical as they come out near you until they see what your catching.
