gregg.michael
Not lately I'm sorry. But I would love to know how you go and what state the river is in if you would be so kind when you return from the trip. What are you targeting? Cheers, Mike
gregg.michael
Alrighty, I headed down from sydney to the Wollondilly today for a fish. I can tell you the river is looking worse than I have ever seen it. The levels are right down and sections of the once constantly flowing river are seperated by exposed rocks forming shallow pools in which not much life exists. The rapids are anything but and the water has a nasty brown sludge coating in in parts. We still managed to get into some carp further down the river in the deeper sections but it was hard work and they were all small. Still a fun day with it being too hot to not go for a swim and the carp are good fun on very light tackle. Hopefully we get alot of rain this summer but the predictions are not looking good. I have a feeling less water is being pumped down it for some reason - any ideas? Mike
