went down to lilli pilli yesterday arvo and managed to land 5 tailor and dropping even more coz we had no landing net.....

largest 42 smallest 39

caught 2 lil baby squid and was joined by another raider (archilles) we then headed over to captain cooks bridge for a go at bream and jewwies....

First cast landed a lil undersized bream second got a 26cm  A few more casts got us a few more under sized and dropped 2 big ones :ranting2:

a school of squid came by Archilles had one grab on and it let go once he pulled... The school then moved on and we landed another bream at 31cm...

Not a bad day hope to get out there again... :biggrin2:

Good work A Dawg, bet you showed Archie a trick or two and gave that squid a bit of a fright. looks like thare's plenty of good size tailor around ay..lily pili along the mad mile has over 80 foot in places and if you havent got a boat there's quite a few jetties that you could suss out and may be able to fish off if you ask the owners politely and keep it to yourself ...

Cheers

You were fishing off the baths and casting out a long way about 6pm, we could see your lure landing way out. There's always someone watching.

It looked real good when they busted up on the surface, we were anchored on the edge of the sand flat

and in the end couldn't resist the fish. But they disappeared by the time we got moving.

We managed a few tailor to go with the other bits and pieces.

It was a beautiful evening to have tea on the boat.
