Krispy ! Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 (edited) Hey raiders, This afternoon i got a letter from the local rugby league club that i've been promoted to the Dragons Junior Reps. I'm cheering at the moment and i cant believe it . Throughout the whole sydney district they only pick 25 and I'm one of them. Pre-Season training starts in two weeks. They even said Wayne Bennet and some players will be popping in from time to time whil we train which is phenominal. CHEERS! seriola lalandi, Edited December 26, 2009 by seriola lalandi

But im gonna have to make sure i beat the tigers for you. We've got another trial coming up after we beat the chooks earlier this week. Thanks for the nice comments.
marcel haber Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 (edited) iwish you all the best mate, I am a dragons supporter and I woulnt have it any other way. It will be hard to make it all the way however if you keep focused , train hard and keep deciplined you are half way there. Surround yourself amongst achievers- concentrate on your on game and remember statistics are everything. So keep bettering your metres gained, tackles, hit ups etc and become consistent. Twin 1. KEEP OFF THE GROG - this is the downfall of most up and coming players. Edited January 22, 2010 by twin1

Krispy ! Posted January 23, 2010 Author Posted January 23, 2010 I train every day and do alot of cardio work to get my fitness up to scratch. Since becoming part of the squad i've been going extra hard on myself, maybe a little too hard. I do laps around the local park alot and i can do 50kg on the weights. I'm not sure whether i should go lighter on the weights because a few people have told me its too much but im comfortable with it. I can't wait till we play the dogs, a couple of my mates are in their team as well.
The Iceman Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 Your attitude is good with the extra training but Im not sure you are doing it right If I were you I would be going to the club and seeking out one of the fitness trainers and asking him to set some structured extra training to do by yourself This will show the club that you are serious and enthusiastic about doing well and you will get the right type of training to develop into a good footie player
Krispy ! Posted January 25, 2010 Author Posted January 25, 2010 Yeah ill ask one of the trainers for a programme, thanks for the advice. The dogs players just a couple of close mates who go to my school. seriola lalandi,
