Hey raiders,

Hope the Chrissy period has been a safe and fun one for you all! The weather has been pretty unfortunate but it's good to see a few reports coming in here and there so big props to the raiders who have found the time to get out there!

Anyway, Hopefully this weather will get better after the new year. As enjoyable as this rain may be, a mixture of rain and camping certainly isn't my cup of tea. From the 3rd of Jan me and some friends will be heading south into Booderee national Park to camp near Cave beach. I've done a search on the forum and google but haven't found any information on this beach in particular apart from one raider a few years ago who claimed that the rocks there are ok to fish off.

Anyway If any raiders can provide any exp fishing from here that would be great. The plan of attack so far is pretty simple as I don't have much beach fishing experience. So i'm just going to look for gutters, or fish the corners near the rocks with lots of berley and any fresh bait I can find (Failing this frozen pilchards from the esky)

Thanks for any help, happy new years!!!

Joel

Thanks Heaps Tadpohle, that is some ridiculously good advice!

I will take in what you said and hopefully catch a thing or two.

Cheers, Joel :1fishing1:
