locodave Posted December 29, 2009 Posted December 29, 2009 I've kept my boat outside with a cover on, and I guess that is just a formula to grow mushrooms from the carpet!! Looks terrible for starters, but I want them gone and never to come back! Is there a proper way to get tid of these things?
framedtrash Posted December 29, 2009 Posted December 29, 2009 haha with a hose n brush damp dark warm conditions = shrooms
locodave Posted December 29, 2009 Author Posted December 29, 2009 Is there some kind of treatment you can use on the carpet?
chrisg Posted December 29, 2009 Posted December 29, 2009 Dave Couple of drops of clove oil in 100ml of water and mist....not spray, mist the area. Should kill off the spores and any mould spores too. C.
locodave Posted December 30, 2009 Author Posted December 30, 2009 (edited) What is clove oil? Where can i get it from? Edited December 30, 2009 by locodave
chrisg Posted December 30, 2009 Posted December 30, 2009 An oil made from the spice clove....small knobbly woody thing. Great for toothache and killing mould and fungus spores (great for bathroom mould!). Buy from the chemist in a little bottle and use with care...just a few drops in a small spray bottle and mist the area. C.
