Helrza
Howdy guys, I was introduced to this fine forum by a mate a few months ago and i wanted to kick of my 1st post with a good one (save some embarrasement ) Me and my mate Ivz350 (another forum user) decided to hit narrabeen wednesday arvs to try out a couple of these new crazy legs jerk shads he'd finally got his hands on after months of hunting (he twisted my arm into goin!). Once we got there, on came the waders and off we went, both our 1st casts we got absolutely smashed, i hooked up, after a few massive headshakes my leader snapped... great time to forget to set the drag rofl. So i re-rig and send out another one of the crazies, 1/2 way back, i get hammered a 2nd time! After a couple of good runs and a lot of headshakes, ivz's netting skills managed to land us a 78cm flattie http://i846.photobucket.com/albums/ab26/Ba...pg?t=1262518229 sry for the web address, i couldnt get the photo's to load to the site After a few more flicks and different plastics, we decided to change to live bait and with the exception of 3 legal bream, it basically went quiet. Biggest bummer for the night though, we didnt take any big gear with us, whilst i was standin out in the water, a 70+ jewie casually swam past about a meter and a half in front of me... nooooooo. nm... will catch him later And to think i wasnt gonna go.... thanks ivz
disturb3d
Nice flatty there mate!! They're heaps fun on light gear. I went fishing with another fellow raider on Saturday and caught a flatty on a live yakka. The flatty measured up to be about 78cm. Pretty boring on heavy gear, I actually thought i got a pile of weeds. Awesome catch though
