a boat
Hi Rizzo, nice rig mate and yes you do not see alot of Lunds here in Oz. Good boats and owned by Brunswick and last time I was in the States I had a run in one and they do ride well. I looked at bringing them in a few years ago and was impressed with them and she has alot of toys on her. Cheers, Huey.

DarkHorse
Rizzo, AWESOME!! What a stunner! Very nice build and finish, looks like she has been well looked after. Pity our Australian boat builders could not build and finish to that standard, that is sweet. Would be nice to fish out of her................ Do you want to swap her for a 4.4m stacer barra elite????????? That lowrance on the console is MASSIVE! Congrats on the purchase, 1 in a million and sounds like an awesome buy. Good luck with her, I hope she helps you catch heaps of fish! Regards, Rob
taloyoak
Lund!, I have owned 2 of their boats, and up in the Canadian Arctic they are pretty much the ONLY boat locals buy. The Inuit communities up there have only 1 store/shop in each place ( called The Northern Store), and although the in-store purchases are pretty small, 3 times a year they produce a mail order catalog where you can buy pretty much anything: from snowmobiles, rifles, ATV's, Lund Boats, Plasma TV's etc. I never heard of Lund before living up there, but I ccan vouch for their seaworthyness. Tough boats.

jewgaffer
Rizzo mmmmmmm ............ very smooth nice work tracking this one down Byron Chris Chris it's an interesting story actually but full credit should go to Richard not me...I've never actually met Richard but I have spoken to him over the phone a couple of times in the past about fishing rather than boating. Anyway Richard noticed a Lund Boat for sale in a boating magazine and sent me some photos he received from the seller and as it was decided to ask me for an opinion. I spoke to a boat valuer and I suggested that Richard offers the seller a small deposit subject to inspection and drives straight up to Toowoomba without any further ado before the seller advertises it where one normally would. I suggested to Richard that he keeps in regular contact with the seller and lets him know where he is along the way and where he will be stopping over etc and ask the seller what time he would expect him to arrive in Toowoomba from where he was at the time to keep him warm so to speak, and when he gets there play it by ear and negotiate. I had arranged for a friend to meet Richard somewhere on the outskirts of Ballina and show him where to go to do the changeover and, should the RTA require proof of weight for the trailer, my friend was to mind the boat on the water while Richard took the trailer to the weighbridge. Just that it is much easier all the way around to do change of registration from Queensland to NSW in a small town like Ballina on the way thru than it is to do it when you get back to Sydney.
