Jewdreamer
Bottom of the tide in the middle of the day so ... at least it will be comfortable. Ralph (not yet a raider but avid reader) and I launched at Oatley at 11:30 and headed for the moons. Dropped five witches hats on the way at likely locations Drifted the northern channel a couple of times for only a few enquiries.. little flatties and tailer. did the same again for a donut. Drifted the moorings to the sand bar and picked up a 30cm breambo on a pumpkinseed 3" swimming mullet casting to the submerged rocks. By now the tide had really turned and things went quiet.. only heaps of nuisance baby tailer nipping the tails off all the placcies A mate had given me a "green weed"fly to try on the Luderick in the salt pan creek weedbeds, so we hopped over there.. no joy, heaps of fish breaching as we drifted across , but no takers.. Oh well better luck next time. Headed back to the ramp, via picking up the witches hats, ...2 decent size blue swimmers and one throwback. Back at the ramp and boat on the trailer by 3PM. At least dinner is sorted! Cheers Chris Oops, wrong catagory.. Mods, please move to lure and fly fishing reports
