Hawkesbury River

well, went fishing on the hawkesbury on sat morning from 3am till 8 with the wife. fished near the rail bridge.

baits were salted pilchards/slimies and left over uncooked banana prawns from xmas.

arrived at intended spot to find the small beach that once was a very comfortble spot to fish was no longer there. it is now filled in with large boulders.

setting up took awhile because i forgot my head torch, so had to share small keyring torch.

ended up with 1 bream (released) and lots of bites, lots of

got dusted by unknown on pilchard 2 hook rig on 15kg leader after 3 min fight.

sophie also got done by something on 7kg flurocarbon not happy
