Yarraone
I have decided to give the Windamere dam a go as I have herd that the yellowbelly and cod are on the bite. My boat for those of you that know me, isnt really suited for fishing in to tight of trees and such.. However I will be working the trees as much as i can during the day.. I also have not realy fished with SP's or lures before so it will be a big day of firsts... Any help with deciding what lures and Sp's I should use and sizes will be great.. Also if anyone could suggest a few spots as well.. I will be traveling from Bathurst, and may be camping overnight. I wont have alot of bait, but will have some worms, and have herd that they have been biting on cheese??? If you see me outthere come on over and say hi.. I dont fish fresh water even though I live out here...
bringo
I was up at windamere on Saturday (didn't get to fish) but talking to the caretaker at the caravan park they have been catching plenty of yellas on Jackal TN60s and there imitations. Water level is very low but still OK if you take it easy. Good luck and let us know how you go.
