Downrigging Sydney Harbour

WENT OUT TO THE HAROUR TODAY

GOT ON THE WATER AT 5AM

WENT TO BALMORAL TO GET SOME LIVIES

AFTER A WHILE OF NOT GETTING ANY I FINALLY GOT

A FEW BITES AND STARTRED GETTING A FEW YELLOWTAIL FOR BAIT'

I THEN WENT OUT TO THE COLOURS AND STARTED DOWNRIGGING AND

COULDNT GET A BITE!!!!!!!!!!!

IT WAS MY FIRST ATTEMPT AT DOWNRIGGING

JUST WONDERING IF ANYONE ELSE FOUND IT AS HARD AS I DID?????????

Yeah I was out there today downrigging the colours also. Black center console.

Funnily enough after about 20 minutes The bomb went off and we hooked onto a little mako. We got a bit of it on film but my mate dropped a few f and c bombs so if anyone is good at editing footage and sound, I'll send It across- feel free

We gave up on the downrigging and went for a bottom bash at north head. Got a few snapper and reef fish. We struggled beating sweep to get to the yakkas. I'm terrible at getting bait in the harbour.

We had intensions of making it to long reef but never got there.

Anyone know of somewhere you can grab a snack in the harbour? Meat pie, sandwhiches or a burger etc?

Gary I'm suprised your talking to me. Still haven't come out to get some work done. Think it was one month ago I said I'd come see you!

Manly wharf sounds awesome. Was so hungry today. The bait was looking a good option today.

Mate, next time you fish the harbour and need a feed there's a nice little cafe called bacino kiosk on the waterfront in chowder bay, awesome food and coffee
