Sven Graham
This is my first post, only just joined the site and already have learned a lot! Anyway this is my first summer with a boat and am trying to catch my first kingy....unsuccessfully! I launch from Tunks and after a bit of trial and error am managing to get plenty of live yakkas just off the headland at Quaranteen, but absolutely no luck with squid.....I haven't even seen one. Can anyone help me on this? So I've got my bait, and I assume from what I've read here that yakkas work, but I've tried the marker at Quaranteen and off Old Mans Hat and after half a dozen outings not even a nibble...any suggestions. As far as time I've been on the water by five even sat through the shocking swell at the heads yesterday. Any tips on the squid vs yakkas, spots or anything would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
