Jewdreamer Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 Ouch!!! I knew there was a reason I chickened out yesterday, could have been me. Call Huey! Best of luck Chris
blower Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 (edited) Depending on how bent the arm is as to whether it will be difficult to slide out through the tilt tube that runs at the top of the mounts. The whole operation of changing the steering cable is not hard just a bit fiddly depending on your specific setup. The steering arm and the cable are usually a one piece affair so you do the lot. Great way to get to know your boat by fixing things yourself and what with all the info on the net you can get a good idea if you are up to it or if you should have a tradie look at it. Go to the boating section for a look around and try asking there. Good luck and that southerly looked to catch a few guys out. Edited January 24, 2010 by blower
