has anyone used this reel? it looks as if it will handle most situations

Good on you Peter nice to see you making a comeback and thinking big jewfish again Can't say I know much about the reel but based on their largest baitrunner model retailing at 25% dearer than the popular 6500 Baitrunner and having such big mono line capacity and having the new age drag system at 30lb, and going on the fact that you bought the 12000 Peter it's got to be a first class reel particularly in a competitive market like this.

By the way better dust your boat rods down too, I'll be getting out as much as I can so will be looking forward to picking you up at Palm Beach one day so we should be able have another session sometime in the near future.
