blower Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 Gave it a good shake this past Friday morning out and around Botany Heads and a little further north but not much to talk of. Managed a half dozen Yakkas down the Molineux wall early and with a couple of fresh squid was looking to get a King or two before the promised southerly blew in. Well try as I may downrigging and tossing lures around - the only kings to come out and play where real undersize, 55's and the like..... oh well. Did snag a bunch of tailor for a feed trolling little jet heads out of the Bay and of course a few Bonnies out and up north... not what I was really after but fun. Nice day out there none the less.
james7 Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 Nice collection of tailor blower. Mmmm ... I can smell tailor fillets smoking in my smoker already! Can you drop a couple of fillets off to me this arvo? Cheers Peter
Wobbler Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 sounds like a good day apart from no kingies. What are tailor like smoked ?
blower Posted January 30, 2010 Author Posted January 30, 2010 Thanks Wobbler and Peter, smoked tailor are great mate, thats why they are all gone - eh Pete. Would be more than willing to sling a few your way... gotta feed the masses first though, my hungry crew and the neighbours get priority for putting up with my early starts and outboard flushes.
