tide'n'knots
gday mate, one of my mates sons anchors around the moored boats and burleys with bread soaked in a bucket of water (just a little flick every so often) and uses no sinker, or very little, with peeled prawn and does quite well on bream in that area, but you must be patient and wait for the burley to work. The water is reasonably deep there with very little current and the odd school jew passes through from time to time also. good luck pete.

GregL
Also further up stream from the boat ramp near the marina, there is a nice drop off near the channel marker between the marina and moored boats. some nice flatties and bream there and burley is a must. Better off after sundown if using soft baits like prawns as the little snappers are thick! Fish very light to unweighted baits and you sould get some fish. myocard
Can you get in & out after sunset/before sunrise. There is a sign advising that the carpark is locked overnight.

tide'n'knots
thanks for that mate very much appreciated have to try that this afternoon ill let ya know how i go mate I owe you an apology - the area I was talking about was more where greg said -not the boat ramp area! oops! I think the boat ramp area would probably work anyway as I have seen them under boats from the road up top. Hope you get into em anyway. As greg said burley is a must and because there is little or no current soaked bread works fine. pete
