gobbledock
Went down to the local river for a quick fish in hope of a jewfish, first bait down produced 46cm soapie. Then managed some nice bream and whiting. After an hour of dead period hooked something decent which took roughly a 30m run, then busted off on 15lbs gear. paul.kenny
Excellent to see the fish are still biting despite the rain. Pity about the big one getting away. How dirty was the water at Picnic Point? I am torn between going out to the bay or to work some jewie holes.
gobbledock
From the shore The water there is a little mirky, but up near milpera bridge it was really muddy. Ive always had more success in dirty water on jews there. Seems they use it to hunt in the shallows
