knapers
Just wondering if there are any SP's that you tend to stay away from because of lack of success? Cheers, Knapers.

the_lure
Knapers I think it is all a confidence thing with SP's and lures in general, you catch fish on the lure you feel most comfortable fishing, for me I get all manner of fish on 3" Bass Minnows and the larger Squidgie flick baits. I have a plethora of other softies that just dont get a look in, why??? because i am comfortable fishing a particular lure. cheers Chris
Guest Jocool
Gene Larew Crappy Spiders 42480[/snapback] Have you used these a lot Pete? I have only ever had a few bumps, but no hook ups on them!

Matt
Its funny how some people hate one plastic and the next love 'em. Take Bass Minnows and Crappie Spiders. The Bass Minnow is still a front line plastic for me and I used to love the Spiders (dont use them much anymore mainly due to them being hard to find). Like was mentioned earlier, confidence in the lure is everything. My most hated plastic would have to be either Squidgie Wrigglers or 2" Berkley Gulps. YICK! Ken A
I have had little success with gulps & I don't even own a squidgie of any type anymore. The majority of my SP fishing is done with Ecogear grass minnows & paramax grubs - tanks & wait for it ............muscadine sliders Ages ago I tried spiders & took fish on them.
