fish53
G'day Raiders, Wet a line yesterday using nippers and plastics. Various spots with mixed results at each. Headed out at 0615 and went to the groynes off Kurnell for a while with little action. Moved to near the sticks and also slow before ending up well off the runway where I managed 3 keeper bream and many throw backs. After a while tried off Brighton shore for nil then anchored off the Port marker from the Bay to the Georges (off Towra wide) and had a few runs and 1 keeper bream. About 11 I headed towards Woolooware Bay but stopped at a very good looking spot off the edge of the channel between Towra and Woolooware. Very exposed shoreline at dead low tide with exposed rocks etc . Managed 4 very nice bream in about 1 hour plus a few pickers. The Bream were in shallow water just cruising in the slack for some food. One hit like a train and would have been 50 metres away in about 60 cm of water when I stopped him. Was followed back to the boat by another big fish while I played him in. So in the end a good result. Back in by 12.30 with a total of 8 bream from 29 to 38cm. Most on Nippers but had heaps of small beam and about 8 undersize Flathead on the plastics. tight lines Peter Sorry no pics as I am still trying to figure how to downsize on the Mac I am using
Captin
I was out yesterday myself, very quiet day. I tried a new spot for yakka's and hit the jackpot. No kingies, but at least getting livies won't be as painful anymore.
