Fresh Water Fishing On Karuah River Nsw

Hi All,

I am taking the wife and dogs for a quiet weekend away up in Monkerai NSW.

The property is just 400m from the Karuah river and, Even though I have promised the wife it isnt a fishing weekend, Im going to sneak a rod into the pajero.

I am a saltwater boat angler, never really fished fresh. Wondering what kind of species to expect if any? Im assuming Bass, but others?

Anyone had any experience on the fresh on the karuah river?

Trying to narrow down lure choice.
